MUMBAI : Bhavani Shipping had organized a Worldwide Agents Meet 2015 on Wednesday, March 18, at Regenza by Tunga Hotel, Navi Mumbai.

 

Agents worldwide, from Middle East, South East Asia, Sub-continent etc. had attended the meet.  The Board of Diretors, Mr. K. D. Shetty (Chairman & Managing Director), Mr. Jeekshith Bantval (Director), Mrs. Ankita Shetty (Director) and Mrs. Sarita Shetty  (Director) and many other senior officials from Bhavani Shipping, Agents from India and overseas were present at the meet.

 

The morning session began with a welcome note by Ms. Ankita Shetty followed by a brief presentation of Bhavani Shipping by Capt. Bishwajit Chakravarty, Sr. Vice President. .

 

Thereafter all agents presented their respective part by highlighting business now and for the following years. Brainstorming session on the challenges in the sector and other important concerns were also discussed at the meeting.

 

Subsequently, Mr. K.D. Shetty did the honours of presenting Mementos to all the agents and thanked them for their cooperation and support. 

 

He outlined the future prospects of Bhavani Shipping in shipping domain.

 

He also informed the gathering on how Bhavani has maintained a steady growth of its further business accomplishments in a short span of time and various measures taken towards its growth.  Mr. Shetty also highlighted that Bhavani is planning to expand further into various other logistics verticals in the coming years.

 

Deliberation was held with regard to the issues concerning the current shipping market, steps to improvise and overcome these challenges and move ahead.

 

Bhavani Shipping also organized a get-together in the evening to celebrate the success of Bhavani Shipping. 

 

In addition to the overseas agents, Senior officials of major shipping lines, clients, business partners, and the employees of Bhavani groups  graced the occasion.

 

Mr. Jeekshith Bantval addressed the gathering and described this as a family meet where the clients, agents, business partners and officials gather under one roof to celebrate the success of Bhavani Groups. 

 

It was an overwhelming moment for Bhavani.

 

He addressed with pride that the year 2014-15 was a remarkable one as registration of CHA Licence that was missing to make Bhavani a complete logistics solution provider, was obtained for Mumbai too apart from the CHA service carried out in Mangalore and Vishakapatnam.  He said that now Bhavani is fully equipped to carry out Customs Clearance of all kinds of commodities of import and export.  He also added, “Our aim is to deliver an efficient, professional, timely service using most advanced system for submission of export and import documents.”

 

Secondly, Bhavani has added one more feather to its cap by setting up a foundation under the brand name of BHAVANI FOUNDATION.

 

This foundation will contribute towards the betterment of social welfare of the society.  With a view to help the needy, the employees working with Bhavani Group have decided to contribute a part of their salary for this noble cause.

 

Mr. Yusuf Al Rayees of M/s. Transco, Bahrain, presented a memento to Mr. K.D. Shetty and Mr. Jeekshith Bantval.

 

Mr. Shetty thanked the guests for their support and making the event a grand success.  He also emphasized that it is the relationship which counts in realty and this will always remain in the hearts of all of us in Bhavani Shipping.
