NAVI MUMBAI: Mr Rajkumar Rawlani has been appointed as the new CMD of Ashte CFS, one of the leading CFS facilities in the vicinity of JN Port.
The decision was taken by Ashte’s Board of Directors.
The state-of-art Ashte CFS was set up in 2009 by Ashte Logistics at Ashte Village, Panvel, near Jawaharlal Nehru Port, Navi Mumbai. It owes its success to the efforts put in by all the Directors who worked tirelessly from scratch to bring Ashte CFS to its present position.
The Board of Directors is confident of Mr Rawlani taking the CFS to new heights.
Promoted by a group of companies engaged in the logistics business for over 25 years, Ashte CFS facilitates the export and import community, shipping lines, freight forwarders and CHAs by providing economic and reliable one-stop solutions in terms of Customs clearance, transportation to and from port, storage, stuffing and de-stuffing of export and import containers, besides repairing, refurbishing and storage of empty containers. Ashte CFS also provides facilities such as online tracking.
The CFS is built on an area of 55,000 sq. metres, which also comprises warehouses for handling Import-Export cargo, and a fully paved yard that can accommodate more than 3,000 TEUs at a time.
Ashte CFS is fully equipped with state-of-the-art machinery/equipment such as reach-stackers, fire hydrant systems, multiple gensets, high-mast lighting, electronic weighbridge, reefer points, etc.
Its other salient features include capacity to handle 1,00,000 TEUs per annum and well trained and experienced personnel of over 100. It has a dedicated Customer Service Cell with experienced and qualified staff to handle all customer queries, as well as round-the-clock security and power back-up.
