Seabird CFS at Hazira handles first export LCL console

MUMBAI: Seabird CFS (Parekh Group), with help of client “Allcargo Logistics Ltd” successfully handled the first Export LCL console container stuffing, on Friday, Dec. 2, 2016, at Seabird CFS Hazira facility. The occasion saw the stuffing of 1 TEU LCL of KMTC Line.
 
This was made possible due to the prompt permission, guidance and help of Hazira Customs. Seabird CFS has conveyed its heartfelt thanks to the Customs officials at Hazira, especially the Additional Commissioner of Customs Mr Manoj Kumar Rajak and Assistant Commissioner of Customs Mr H. K. Jain.
 
LCL export stuffing at Seabird CFS, Hazira and loading from Adani Hazira Port will give a huge boost to exporters, consolidators, CHAs and the concerned trade fraternity based out of Surat, Ankleshwar, Dahej, Bharuch, Vadodara and Vapi, highlighted a release.
 
Among the top class facilities at the Seabird CFS is the covered export warehouse, which is clean, dust free and capable of handling pharma-grade cargo. The benefits in terms of cost and time saving, and swift services is substantial to export consolidators. Round-the-clock service at Adani Hazira Port for Export GATE IN is an added advantage, further reducing the cost of trailer detention, shutouts, etc.
 
And further easing accessibility are the Weekly Direct services to the Gulf and Far East offered by various shipping lines from Hazira Port, which is an added advantage. A majority of the main line operators (MLOs) and NVOCCs currently operate from Adani Hazira Port and provide worldwide coverage.
