CHENNAI/KOCHI: NTC Logistics is pleased to announce the opening of a new office at Kochi and the team's efforts in building their maiden console box to the Far East.
The Global Freight forwarding vertical of NTC Logistics has 13 offices in India and overseas offices in Hong Kong, Colombo, Dubai and Australia.
NTC Logistics encompasses end to end supply chain logistics catering to global freight forwarding by ocean and air, transport, customs clearance, warehousing solutions and project cargo movement. Today NTC is India's leading player in the renewable energy segment and boasts of a fleet size of 66,079 tonnes carrying capacity.
Ms Shantha Martin, CEO of NTC's global freight forwarding vertical, thanked the trade for the support and stressed the value-added offerings to customers by providing first and last-mile delivery using in-house fleet and customs clearance services.
Mr Venkatesh R, NTC Group's CEO, highlighted the focus to cater to SMEs, MSMEs and logistics service offerings, especially in the hinterlands. To cater to the Kerala market, NTC has set up the main office at Kochi and has satellite offices at Kannur, Thiruvanathapuram, and Kozhikode.
Mr Chandramohan K, NTC Group's Chairman and Managing Director, outlined the expansion plan to increase the footprint in India and launch many of its logistics businesses overseas. He emphasized the need for customers seeking a broader set of logistic services and how NTC, with an entire gamut of services, is well equipped under its roof to cater to their needs.
On the occasion of the Kochi office inauguration, CMD Mr K Chandramohan unveiled the launch of a full-fledged Consolidation Division named BOXORY, which will have LCL operations in India and overseas.
