NAVI MUMBAI : H.E. Mr. Edouard Philippe, Former Prime Minister of France & Mayor of Le Havre, was welcomed by Shri Sanjay Sethi, IAS, Chairman, JNPA in the presence of Shri Unmesh Sharad Wagh, IRS, Deputy Chairman, JNPA on 17th March 2023.
During his meeting, he was informed about various initiatives of JNPA. Later in the evening he also addressed a Trade Get-Together at Hotel Taj Palace, Mumbai, emphasizingon strong bilateral trade relations between India and France besides inviting the Indian Business Houses to invest in upcoming Port projects in France.
Currently JNPA operates five container terminals: The Jawaharlal Nehru Port Container Terminal (JNPCT), the Nhava Sheva International Container Terminal (NSICT), the Gateway Terminals India Pvt. Ltd. (GTIPL),
Nhava Sheva International Gateway Terminal (NSIGT) and the newly commissioned Bharat Mumbai Container Terminals Private Limited (BMCTPL). The Port also has a Shallow Water Berth for general cargo and another Liquid Cargo Terminal which is managed by BPCL-IOCL consortium and newly constructed coastal berth.
